About YMRP
Gen Z's gender gap has exploded in the US and globally. The Young Men Research Project (YMRP) was created in early 2024 by long-time experts in youth civic engagement, demographic research, and communications to better understand the gender gap and support efforts to engage young men on progressive issues and values. The Young Men Research Project has become a leading source of analysis and research on the youth gender gap, and released a major poll of 18-29 year olds with YouGov in August. YMRP and our research has been cited in NPR, MSNBC, The Guardian, New Republic, The Dispatch, and Ms. Magazine, and has helped shape the coverage of the issue in the NY Times, WSJ and other outlets.
